	September 1984 – August 1995: Behavior Intervention Specialist & Teacher, Spokane Public Schools, Spokane, WA. I provided services to behaviorally/emotionally disturbed students (K-12), consulted with administrators, teachers and families to provide effective programming. Also worked with children with special needs (specifically Autism Spectrum Disorder). As a teacher, I taught elementary school (6th grade) and middle school (7th/8th grade) students.
	August 1980 – August 1984: Director, Special Services/School Social Worker and Coordinator, Educational Support Services, Educational Service District #101, Spokane, WA. Director of Special Education for Grand Coulee Dam School District and provided social work services. As Coordinator of Educational Support Services, I provided consultation to school districts (behavior management/staff inservices) and supervised E.S.D. staff.
